Tattoofest has been a family event for years, so we never forget about the youngest. With them in mind we always carefully prepare a large Kids Zone in the middle of the hall and in the outdoor area, where parents can leave their children under the professional care of animators.
This year SUPERSKLEP is responsible for your relaxation at the festival. SUPERSKLEP. On their behalf we would like to invite you to the outdoor chillout zone, where with a drink or a coffee in your hand you can listen to graceful tunes by DJ Maślak. In the SUPERSKLEP zone we will also be painting boards, which will go out into the world to adorn the walls of the best skate shops and tattoo studios.
For those eager for knowledge and new skills we created WORKSHOP zone for the first time this year. You will meet there, among others, Alicja and her Lalesie.
Thanks to dozens of hours of handicraft work, a combination of painting, sculpting and sewing techniques a mass-produced toy is transformed into an artistic, one-of-a-kind creature – Lalesia.
During the festival Alicja will conduct workshops on creating original LALESI heads. The workshop will consist in painting and decorating the head, attaching hair, and decorating a dedicated badge. There will be no shortage of ribbons, beads, glitter, pollen and Lalesi talc!
Workshops will be held on Saturday 14-17 and Sunday 11-14. Places are limited, so first come, first served! The WORKSHOP area can be found in the Lobby.
You will also be able to see Alicja’s finished dolls at a separate exhibition in the ART zone.
In the WORKSHOP zone you will also meet Krysia, who has recently been studying the art of creating linocut, a graphic technique, the effect of which is very close to the oldest relief printing technique. The classes will consist in carving a pattern in linoleum, which you will later print on special paper. So it’s chisels and paint-dipped rollers at work! According to the workshop leader, you don’t need super drawing skills to create cool things using this technique, just good tools and a bit of manual dexterity.
The workshop will take place on Saturday 11:00-14:00 and Sunday 14:00-17:00. Places are limited, so first come, first served! The WORKSHOP area can be found in the Lobby.
EXHIBITION AND SALE OF LINOCUTS
Diana (ttoo_diaz)i Alex ( but_tattooer) unfortunately cannot be with us during this year’s Tattoofest. There is a war going on in their country at the moment…
However, they managed to provide us with their original linocuts. These images are full of Ukrainian symbols, a sense of injustice and sadness, but also full of hope.
You can not only see them, but also buy them in our ART zone.
30% of the proceeds from the sale of the works will be donated to help the needy in Ukraine
